Raja to Oversee Customer Experience, Global Network

American Airlines Group (AAL) today announced the appointment of Vasu Raja as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.

Raja will oversee the airline's global network, customer experience, and revenue management operations. He will report directly to American Airlines Chief Executive Officer, Robert Isom.

"Vasu is a proven leader with a deep understanding of the airline industry and a strong track record of delivering results," said Isom. "His customer-centric approach and innovative思维 will be invaluable as we continue to enhance the customer experience and grow our business."

Raja joins American Airlines from Delta Air Lines, where he served as Senior Vice President of Network Planning and Revenue Management. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at United Airlines and Bain & Company.

Raja's appointment is effective June 1, 2024.
